PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the structure of a foundation in a firmly built vibration- isolating building, which has high stretching rigidity in spite of small volume and in which differential settlement is not generated. SOLUTION: A plurality of spot-like foundations 10 composed of concrete independent foundations bearing an aseismic isolator 2 are installed mutually at intervals, these stop-like foundations 10 or the like are connected mutually by horizontal linear post jointings 8, 9, and the post joinings 8 are borne by a ground 11.
