PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set a state being suitable for a channel and to report it. SOLUTION: Each state table storing setting possible states is prepared at every channel. When a user participates in the channel, the state table of the channel is obtained. A user state in each channel is selected from the states registered in the channel state table and set. Since the state table is set in accordance with he quality of each channel and also the user state is independent set at every channel, the user adequately sets the state at every channel. It is favorable that the state table is set by the specified user such as a channel manager. Besides, the state to be set in the channel is made to be different in accordance with a user attribute in the channel.
