PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a garbage treatment apparatus in which circulated water is prevented from freezing to maintain good conditions. SOLUTION: The garbage treatment apparatus where a rotary shaft, in which stirring claws are embedded, is suspended in a treatment tank having a garbage inlet on the upper part is equipped with a thermometer to measure the room temperature or the temperature of circulated water, and a controller to re-start circulation of the circulated water to prevent the water from freezing a pipeline in the case the circulation of the circulated water is stopped and the value measured by the thermometer reaches a prescribed temperature or lower. The temperature of the circulated water may be measured in the vicinity of an intake of the circulated water sent out of a warm water generation source in the outside of the apparatus to judge the re-start of the circulation of the circulated water. |
