PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the adhesion of the coating provided on the inner container of an electric water heater. SOLUTION: The electric water heater is provided with the inner container 1 which has the coating 2 at least made of fluorocarbon resin with the thickness of 30μm or under and the silicon oil component contained in the coating 2 is 2 wt.% or under. There is no separation between a layer of fluorocarbon resin and a layer of non fluorocarbon resin and thereby the degradation of the adhesion of the coating can be controlled.
