PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for screen printing with solder paste which enables quick and accurate setting of optimum printing parameters (speed of squeegee, snap-off speed, printing pressure, etc.), for the solder paste on the occasion when the solder paste for soldering an electronic component is printed on a board. SOLUTION: The printing parameters such as the speed of a squeegee and others are registered beforehand in a printing parameter library as to standard solder pastes A, B, C and D. In the case of using fresh solder paste for printing, the printing parameters of the registered solder paste having properties approximate to that paste are used and trial printing is conducted with these parameters adjusted finely. Thereby the optimum printing parameters are determined and registered in the library. The contents of the library are expanded and enriched in the course of a long period and the set speeds and the reliability of the printing parameters are improved gradually.
