GASOLINE AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a gasoline capable of decreasing a sulfur content without reducing gasoline performances by using a catalytically cracked gasoline base having a high olefin content and to obtain a gasoline by the method. SOLUTION: This gasoline having <=30 ppm, especially <=10 ppm sulfur content is characterized by comprising 30-60 vol.% of a catalytically cracked gasoline base having 90% distillation temperature of <=155 deg.C. This method for producing a gasoline comprises a process for subjecting a raw material oil having >=500 ppm sulfur content to catalytic cracking to give a catalytically cracked gasoline, distilling fractionally the catalytically cracked gasoline to give a catalytically cracked gasoline base having 90% distillation temperature of <=155 deg.C and a process for mixing 30-60 vol.% of the catalytically cracked gasoline base with 70-40 vol.% of another gasoline base.
