PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent units from being erroneously loaded by arranging a positioning and fixing means for fixing only a specified unit at loading plural units to an image forming device main body. SOLUTION: As for the device where a developing device 10 is arranged in combination with a photoreceptor unit 20 in the image forming part of the image forming device, two units 10 and 20 are arranged by using a supporting frame 16, and as to the developing device 10, a positioning hole 30 is formed in the side plate member 11a of the device 10, and a locking member such as a pin member which is retracted by a pin driving member is arranged in the device main body so as to face the positioning hole. Then, in the case the unit is loaded, the device is made in an active state after detecting the state that the pin member is normally fitted into the positioning hole, besides, the warning is given when the unit other than the regular unit is loaded.
