PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device with which low-temp development is possible. SOLUTION: The automatic developing machine which subjects photographed dental X-ray films 19 to development processing by successively feeding ring 21 clamping these films into plural tanks 5a, 5b, 5c and 5d contg. the processing liquid by means of rotary arms 29, 31 and 33 is provided with a low-temperature development mode and a cooling pipe 45 for cooling a developer is arranged in the tank 5a containing the developer among the tanks described above. In the low-temperature development mode, the rotary arms are allowed to perform redundancy operation, by which the immersion time of the X-ray films is prolonged.
