PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for an electrode of color differentiation that can suppress a wrinkle generated both inside and at the end of an aperture grill through lowering of a frame ejection, and a manufacturing equipment therefor. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method is composed of following steps: an electrode material 33 comprising a thin metal plate is given a strain, and while a frame is being pressed to the electrode material 33 given the strain, the electrode material 33 is fixed to the frame. Before fixing the electrode material 33 to the frame, both a process to give the electrode material 33 the strain Fy2 that leads to the direction of separation between a pair of parallel sides 35, 35 and a process to give it the strain Fx2 that leads to the direction along the sides 35, 35 are provided.
