PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for forming an electrode of a plasma display that enables to form an electrode embedded uniformly in a method for forming an electrode of a plasma display using an electrode sheet at each position between barrier ribs of a glass substrate where barrier ribs are provided. SOLUTION: A thermally contact-bonding process for pressuring to stick the electrode sheet 21 where a thermoplastic resin 20 is superimposed on the upper surface to the glass substrate 12 by a thermal contact-bonding, and an eliminating process for the thermoplastic resin for eliminating the thermoplastic resin 20 from the surface of the electrode sheet 21 after the thermal contact- bonding process.
