PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute a sensor monitoring process by a game controller (microcomputer) without omission. SOLUTION: This game machine is equipped with a game controller 17 with backup function which executes a power stop process (forced interruption process) and a function stop and stores information, etc., for restarting a game before power down upon power failure and restarts a game, etc., from a condition of power failure generation at restoration from power failure. A microcomputer 110 periodically executes a sensor monitoring process (step S12) by timer interruption in normal time and unscheduledly executes the sensor monitoring process (steps S24A-S24C) during power failure.
