PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the pixels which can decrease or exclude the artifacts included in an output image and also to provide an active pixel sensor circuit. SOLUTION: The pixels (30, 40) include the photodiodes (31, 41) having the output nodes (37, 47), the reset circuits (33, 34) which are connected to the photodiodes (31, 41) and the selectively operable discharge circuits (36, 44) which are connected to the photodiodes (31, 41) to selectively discharge the photodiodes (31, 41) for securing the prescribed reference voltage.
