PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce elastic deformation and wear of a blade edge and provide stable charged toner forming a thin layer with desired thickness by keeping a wide contact area with a developing roller and reducing the amount of the carried toner. SOLUTION: In a developing apparatus including the toner regulating blade 13 being in contact with the developing roller 7, the blade edge has a portion 13a partly chamfered at a circular arc shaping curved surface and the chamfered portion 13a comes in contact with the developing roller 7. |
