PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a separator for a battery, in which a battery capacity is high, a short circuit by dendrites is pevented, and a handling performance is superior. SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of a separator for a battery is composed of following steps: (1) a dispersion step, in which fine particles are dispersed in a gas, (2) an adhering step, in which the dispersed fine particles are adhered to a separator base material including a fiber sheet, (3) and a fixing step, in which the adhered fine particles are fixed to the separator base material.
