PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engaging structure of a fishing rod body capable of suppressing reduction in engaging force for a long period of time. SOLUTION: An engaging face 13 is formed on the inner peripheral surface at the ear tip side of a large-diameter fishing rod body 1. On the other hand, a reinforcing part 12 composed of a second prepreg obtained by impregnating a synthetic resin into a polyester fiber is formed on the outer peripheral surface at the ear tip side of the large-diameter fishing rod body. An engaging male part 22 at a fishing rod base side of a small-diameter fishing rod body 2 is engaged with and fixed to the engaging face 13.
