PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lift an eyelid of an eye to be examined in accordance with individual physical difference apart from the face, when a device is not used it. SOLUTION: An eyelid lifting means 10 for lifting an eyelid of each eye to be examined is installed on a forehead piece 6. In the eyelid lifting means 10, an arm 11 is supported on the forehead piece 6, and a drive motor 12 is supported at a center of the arm 11. At both ends of the arm 11, devices 13 to be applied to the forehead H are respectively supported to be rotatable through a rotary shaft 14. An output shaft of the drive motor 12 is connected to the rotary shaft 14 through a cord or a belt, and the right and the left devices 13 are driven to rotate by the common drive motor 12. The devices 13 are formed of an elastic member of rubber or the like having a large friction to skin to be easy to be deformed, and it is formed roughly like an asymmetric crescent to be easy to be deformed for safety. The devices 13 are fixed to the rotary shaft 14 at an eccentric position, and it is capable of retracting to a position indicated by a dot line by actuation of the drive motor 12.
