PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve seedling deliverability of seedling-planting tines from seedling taking tines in a vegetable transplanter for delivering and planting the seedlings taken out from a seedling loading base with the seedling planting tines. SOLUTION: This vegetable transplanter characterized by disposing a seedling taking portion for taking out two seedlings for one row per one rotation of a rotary case 34 from the seedling loading base 21 with two pairs of seedling taking tines 23 in different phases of 180 degree and a seedling planting portion for delivering the seedlings with two pairs of seedling planting tines 25 from the seedling taking tines 23 and then planting the two seedlings for one row per one rotation of a rotary case 95 in different phases of 180 degree, and delivering the seedlings from the seedling taking tines 23 at the rising positions of the seedling planting tines on their movement loci B, wherein the movements of the seedling planting tines in the longitudinal direction are small at the rising positions.
