PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an additive to a polyester polymerization system which can avoid sudden boiling and a method of manufacturing polyesters using the same. SOLUTION: The composition mainly has an additive and polyester monomers whose major constituting component is bis-β-hydroxyethyl terephthalate, the additive accounting for 5-60 wt.% of the entire composition, and the method of manufacturing polyesters comprises adding this composition.
