PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a forcibly dropping mechanism capable of reliably dropping even a light commodity. SOLUTION: In this binding device in which a neck of a storage bag a is moved to a terminating end of a guide passage 3, the neck is bound by a clip, the bound storage bag a is dropped, and a guide flap 10 having a guide groove 11 corresponding to the guide passage 3 is turnably fitted on a lower surface of a binding machine body 1 at a first position where the guide groove 11 is vertically engaged with the guide passage 3 and at a second position where the guide groove is disengaged from the guide passage downward of the first position, a pushing-out member 16 is arranged below the guide flap 10 of the binding machine body 1. A tip of the pushing-out member 16 is on the terminating end side of the guide groove 11 when the guide flap 10 is at the first position. The tip of the pushing-out member 16 slides along a lower surface of the guide flap 10 when the guide flap 10 is turned downwardly toward the second position after the storage bag a is bound, and the neck of the bound storage bag a is pushed out to the opening side of the guide groove 11.
