PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a nonhalogen-based flame-retardant resin composition excellent in flame retardant, mechanical and melt flow characteristics, suitable for injection molding. SOLUTION: This nonhalogen-based flame-retardant resin composition is obtained by compounding 100 parts of a blend polymer composed of 55-65% of ethylene-ethyl acrylate copolymer and 35-45% of an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer with 10-40 parts of a metal hydroxide and <=10 parts of a silicone- based flame retardant and has >=8 melt flow rate and >=10 MPa tensile strength.
