PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for evaluating a state of skin aging and/or chappy skin, and evaluating novel usefulness of a component blended into an external preparation for skin such as cosmetics on the basis of the evaluation result.SOLUTION: There are provided an evaluation method for evaluating skin aging-prevention and improvement effect and/or chappy skin prevention and improvement effect of a test substance by using vitamin D as an indicator, an evaluation method for evaluating skin aging and/or chappy skin by using the concentration of vitamin D in blood as an indicator, and an external preparation for skin such as a cosmetic in which active ingredient screened by the evaluation method is blended.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
