PURPOSE: A multiple top gas pressure control method is provided in which the pressure of a top gas of a blast furnace controls the quantity of flow of an adjusting gas of the blast furnace so that the pressure of the top gas is controlled. CONSTITUTION: In a method for controlling a top gas pressure in which an operator for judging input signal conditions and a multifunctional controller, the multiple top pressure control method comprises the steps of judging conditions of pressure measuring signals of a top gas inputted into the operator; operating the input signals into signals of top pressure by receiving the input signals that are judged to be in the normal conditions in a discriminator; judging conditions of the operator; automatically switching signals according to the conditions of the operator; controlling top pressures and positions with a multifunctional controller; and converting output signals of the controller into control signals of a hydraulic unit.
