PURPOSE: A deflection yoke is provided to be capable of uniformly realizing the arraying of an electron beam without increasing the magnetic force of N/S magnets as well as of decreasing the size of the N/S magnets, thereby preventing the grouping degradation of the electron beam and decreasing a pin cushion magnetic field. CONSTITUTION: A horizontal coil(51) is disposed within a separator, and N/S magnets(2) smaller than conventional magnets in terms of magnetic force and size are mounted on a Y-axis so as to reduce a pin cushion magnetic field. The Y-axis portion of the horizontal coil(51) is wound to a portion below of a border of the separator to form an enlarged part(1), and the pin cushion magnetic field is arrayed by the magnetic field generated from the horizontal coil(51).
