PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of a light guide plate is provided to shorten a developing period and to manufacture plural light guide plates having the same quality of reflecting recesses by using a stamper having a pattern corresponding to the reflecting recess of the light guide plate. CONSTITUTION: A master is manufactured(S30) into a light guide plate and molds to be used. The master is inserted(S31) into a vessel for manufacturing a stamper. The stamper is filled(S32) with stamper material for manufacturing a stamper. Herein, the stamper material is preferably used with epoxy or synthetic material of epoxy and aluminium to obtain high stiffness. The stamper material is hardened primarily and then separated from the vessel to injection-mold a stamper. The injection-molded stamper is hardened secondarily and processed(S33) corresponding to the size of the master. A pattern corresponding to a reflecting recess of the master is formed at the lower surface of the stamper. The stamper is assembled(S34) to an upper mold and then with a lower mold(S35) having a recess corresponding to the shape of a light guide plate. Thereby, a cavity corresponding to the shape of a light guide plate is formed. The cavity is filled(S36) with light guide plate material. If the filled material is hardened, the upper and lower molds are removed to injection-mold(S37) a light guide plate.
