PURPOSE: A pad material for a cap visor is provided to reduce the weight of the cap, to improve the wearing feeling of the cap, to simplify the manufacture of the cap, and to prevent the contamination of environment due to the incineration thereof. CONSTITUTION: For manufacturing the pad material for a cap visor, cellulose including waste papers or pulps, and so on is dissolved in water, at this time the amount of the water is 1.5 to 2 times as much as the cellulose. Then, a mixture comprised of water-soluble polyurethane of 90 to 99 wt. percent and starch of 10 to 1 wt. percent is added into the water mixed with the cellulose, and the amount of the mixture is about 20 to 50 wt. percent of the water. The result material obtained as stated above is completed into the pad material after passing a heating step, a dehydrating step, a compression step, and a drying step.
