PURPOSE: A method for mediating medical supplies using the Internet is provided to enable a patient to buy a prescription easily without visiting drugstores from one place to another by making a patient recognize a drugstore having a prescription easily. CONSTITUTION: A patient(3) receives a medical treatment and receives a prescription in a hospital(1). The received prescription is transmitted to the patient(3) and a database(2) of the hospital(1), and a plurality of data is possessed in the patient(3) for enhancing a service. The patient(3) received the prescription connects to the Internet using a calculation network installed in the hospital(1) or other place, and connects to an intermediating server(4) supplying an intermediating service, and requests a purchase of necessary prescription. The intermediating server(4) transmits the prescription to a plurality of member drugstores(5). The drugstores(5) transmit an estimate including an amount and a price to the prescription and the position of drugstore to the intermediating server(4) in accordance with a purchase request of the patient(3). If the intermediating server(4) analyzes the received data and transmits the data to the patient(3), the patient(3) compares data supplied from the drugstores(5), and buys a prescription in a wanted drugstore(5).
