PURPOSE: A process of preparing a calcium carbonate emulsion by emulsification and dispersion of an emulsifying agent and a thickening agent to calcium carbonate and calcium-fortified milk are provided. Whereby, the milk has stable dispersion and increased absorption. CONSTITUTION: Polyglycerin fatty acid ester and sodium polyacrylate are emulsified at room temperature for 1 to 2 hr at 800 to 1,200rpm with a homogenizer, added with soft calcium carbonate little by little, and stirred to produce a calcium carbonate emulsion. Calcium-fortified milk is prepared by adding 2ml calcium carbonate emulsion to 100 parts by weight of milk available in the market.
