PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing reel enabling remote control of an electronic control device, preventing the missing of the operation part of the control device and having excellent portability. SOLUTION: The reel body 4 of the fishing reel 1 is provided with an electronic control device 45 controlling the action of an electric driving part and an operation part 40 to operate the control device 45. The operation part 40 is detachably attached to the reel body 4 and the electronic control device 45 can be operated with the operation part 40 whether the operation part 40 is in a state attached to the reel body 4 or separated from the body 1.
