PURPOSE: A cursor advertising method is provided to maximize an advertising effect by displaying advertisement information around the cursor and on a predetermined position of a screen according to moving state of the cursor. CONSTITUTION: A server of website receives an advertisement with first advertisement information and second advertisement information from an advertiser, and decides ranking of each advertisement(10). If a user visits the website, the server displays around a cursor of a user computer screen the first advertisement information related to a first ranking of advertisement of the advertisements preregistered to the website(12). The server checks as to whether the cursor is in a stationary state during predetermined time or not(14). If the cursor is continuously moving, the server displays the first advertisement information around the cursor(15). If the cursor is in the stationary state, the server displays on a predetermined position of the user computer screen the second advertisement information related to the present advertisement displayed around the cursor(16). The server determines as to whether every advertisement to last ranking is displayed or not(17). If the advertisement is not displayed, the server displays around the cursor the first advertisement information related to next ranking of advertisement(18).
