PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a pole and internal cogs preventable from being mutually disengaged. SOLUTION: The seat reclining device for vehicles are provided with protrusions 44 formed on the back of poles 4, 5 and joined to a pressing material 6, a cam surface 61 formed on the pressing material 6 and joined to the protrusion 44, and first and the second contact parts 62, 63 formed on the pressing material 6 with the cam surface 61 put between them and able to come into contact with the back side 43 of the pole 4.
