PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent gas release, which is not affected by the capacity of a pressure controller. SOLUTION: A gas release preventing device 10 is disposed between a gas inlet pipe 12 and a gas outflow pipe 16 of a LP gas, has a gas outflow preventing device body section 14, a pressure-detecting section 15, a gas-blast circuit-breaker mechanism 13 and a control section 17 and always monitors fluctuation of a gas pressure in a gas channel by a pressure sensor mounted in the pressure-detecting section 15. If an accident, such as breakage of piping occurs, the gas pressure in the gas channel drops approaching 'zero' without limit. In this case, the pressure sensor of the pressure-detecting section 15 detects a pressure drop and the control section 17 outputs a drive signal to the circuit- breaker mechanism 13 to prevent a gas release by shutting a gas channel. Then, the control section 17 instructs an external notification section 18, which notifies external equipment (for example, a centralized monitor panel) that gas has been shut off.
