The high- pressure energy storage facility in the base rock comprises a single connecting section 5 connecting a plurality of storage tanks 2, access tunnels 6 having the connecting section on the storage tank side, and one concrete plug 7 installed at the connecting section 5. Pressures from the storage tanks are concentrated to the concrete plug.
