PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method and apparatus for electron gun structures of cathode-ray tubes, electron gun structures and cathode-ray tubes which can assemble an electron gun structure with a steady and highly precision gap between an electric resistance and a metal conductor by controlling the shape of a metal conductor. SOLUTION: To measure the height of the resistor 12 from the metal conductor fixed positions b, c, d and the metal conductor 14b is placed in appropriate position for forming corresponding to the above heights and formed, then the formed metal conductor 14b is fixed to a prescribed electrode so as to obtain the steady and highly precision gap.
