PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a subscriber, having a new bought ARC telephone to automatically acquire the latest ARC data, by having only to switch on the telephone to utilize the ACR functions with the telephone from first, without taking the ACR-registering application. SOLUTION: A new bought telephone 1 is settled in a prescribed place and switched on to call a data center 2, corresponding to a previously registered specified telephone number, transmits a model-identifying signal and a customer identifying signal after completion of a circuit, and saves ACR data by models, areas and customers downloaded from the data center 2 in an ACR data memory 15 of the telephone 1.
