PURPOSE: A method for issuing credit cards by using a mobile telephone is provided to promote the convenience of users by issuing credit cards without visiting card companies or banking facilities and downloading authentification to the mobile telephone directly. CONSTITUTION: A user who wants to receive a credit card selects a card issue menu in menus of a mobile telephone having a card function(301). The user selects a card company according to a menu or a command displayed on the mobile telephone(302). The user inputs information required for issuing the credit card, an identification number, numbers of the credit cards already owned, a password of each credit card(303). The mobile telephone transmits data loading information(304). The corresponding card company verifies whether there is any abnormality in transmitted information(305-306). If information is normal, the card company issues and transmits a new credit card number to the corresponding mobile telephone(308). If information is abnormal, the card company transmits a message that a new credit card cannot be issued(307). The card company transmits a message requesting registration of a new password to the mobile telephone(309). The user received the new credit card number and the message inputs a new password for the new credit card to the card company through the mobile telephone(310). The card company registers the password(311) and downloads an authentication to the mobile telephone(312). |
