A multifunctional switch device 124 is used with electronic equipment 123, 123', 124' for, e.g., adjusting functions in a vehicle, for example, seat 119', 120', 121', mirrors 117', 117", windows 118', speed, ventilation, lights etc. A central processing unit 123 controls the individual adjustments of equipment, and a data bus 123' provides an exchange of information both ways between the central processing unit and the functional equipment. All components connected to the data bus will contain data related to identity and functionality. A display 125 is connected directly to the central processing unit 123, whilst the switch device 124 is connected to the data bus 123' via a suitable interface 124'. To facilitate use of the switch device 124 an animation thereof is shown on the display 125. |
