<p>PURPOSE: A dielectric color filter of an AC type plasma display panel and a method for fabricating the same are provided to improve color purity and contrast by forming a dielectric color filter on a transparent dielectric layer. CONSTITUTION: Nd2 and Pr2O3 of 5 to 10 weight percent are added into an oxide dielectric of a solid state including leaded glass as a main component. The oxide dielectric is formed with PbO of 60 weight percent, SiO2 of 18 weight percent, B2O3 of 20 weight percent, and Al2O3 of 2 weight percent. The mixture is melted under 1100°C within a platinum furnace by a pulverizing process. The melted mixture is synthesized with glass. A dielectric color filter paste is formed by mixing the synthesized glass with terpineol organic solvent and ethyl-cellulose resin. A color filter(3') is formed between a display electrode(2) and a protective layer(4) by using the dielectric color filter paste.</p> |
