PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly feed a metal tube from a coil without giving any change to the metal tube itself. SOLUTION: This feeder of the metal tube is provided with an uncoiler 2 feeding the metal tube P from the coil 1 by rotating the coil 1 around which the metal tube P is tightly wound, a metal tube separation jig 10 provided between the metal tube P apart from the coil 1 and the coil outer circumferential face and separating the metal tube P from the coil 1, a straightener straightening the fed-out metal tube, and a hairpin machining mechanism 18 cutting the straightened metal tube P into a prescribed length and hairpin machining it. A string can be used as the metal tube separation jig 10.
