PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary traverse device for a cone package dispensing with a complicated mechanism. SOLUTION: This rotary traverse device for the cone package comprises two yarn guide vanes 10 and 20 reversely rotating mutually and a guide face 11 curvedly formed along the movement loci of the both yarn guide vanes 10 and 20. The rotation center 18 of a small-diameter direction yarn guide vane 20 traversing the fed yarn Y from a large-diameter end part PL to a small-diameter end part PS of the cone package P is deviated in the axial direction of the package P relative to the rotation center 17 of the large- diameter direction yarn guide vane 10 traversing the fed yarn Y from the small- diameter end part PS to the large-diameter end part PL, and disposed towards the outer circumferential side of the guide face 11. The yarn abutment part of the yarn Y is made to move from the inside to the outside along with the rotation of the small-diameter direction yarn guide vane 20 so as to gradually increase the traverse speed from the large-diameter end part PL to the small- diameter end part PS.
