PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray CT system, an operation console thereof and a control method such that not only a breathing stop plan during scanning can be efficiently performed but burden on an operator can be reduced. SOLUTION: In a scanning plan screen, a column that designates the number of breathing stops is set other than a breathing stop time input column. If the number of breathing stops is designated, the number of scan clusters is set to the designated breathing stop number. Scanning within a scanning range is divided into each scan cluster almost per equal number of times. As a result, it is possible to avoid that the number of scanning in each scan cluster becomes extremely different.
