PURPOSE: Crash pad mounting structure of a vehicle is provided to prevent a pin from being separated from a cap by fitting the pin of a crash pad and a cowl panel, and to improve working efficiency by forming a fitting unit in the lower part of the pin. CONSTITUTION: An upward fitting protrusion(14) is formed in the end of a pin(11), and a fitting groove(15) opened in the upper part is formed in a cap(13) to prevent the pin form being separated. A fitting piece(16) is extended forward, and bent in the lower part of the pin to restrict the upward movement of the pin. A crash pad is assembled with combining the pin of the crash pad with the cap of a cowl panel(12). A protrusion part(17) is formed in the front of the fitting piece to separate from the front of the pin to cover assembling tolerance in combining the crash pad. The fitting protrusion is inserted to the fitting groove, and the crash pad is fixed firmly. Working efficiency is improved with assembling the pin of the crash pad and the cap of the cowl panel mutually. |
