PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wind direction adjusting device that can improve the appearances of air outlets and is improved in operability for distributing winds. SOLUTION: This wind direction adjusting device is provided with a grill (3) which is rotatably supported by a case body (2) having openings on both sides, a finisher (4) having the air outlets (4a), and a rod (5) which is rotatably supported in spherical contact by the grill (3) and finisher (4). The first supporting body (5a) of the rod (5) is rotatably supported in spherical contact by the cylindrical body (3b) of the grill (3) and, at the same time, the second supporting body (7) of the rod (5) is rotatably supported in spherical contact by the central air output (4a-1) of the finisher (4). Wind directions are adjusted by rotating the rod (5) and grill (3) relatively to each other around the finisher (4). Since both end sections of the rod (5) have extremely long lengths as compared with a control knob (6), the grill (3) can be rotated with a large rotational amount as compared with the rotational operability of the knob (6). Since the moving spaces of the fingers of the operator of this adjusting device and the control knob (6) itself can be reduced, a degree of freedom for modeling is obtained for flattening, the surface of an air outlet section, etc.
