LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE, LUMINOUS BODY, AND LUMINOUS BODY DRIVING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display quality which is favorable even for high-speed animation, by controlling the degradation of the durability of a luminous body at an illumination part, and by reducing electromagnetic wave disorder. SOLUTION: The crystal display device is equipped with a cold cathode tube 3 which irradiates the light according to the output signal of an inverter 2 to a liquid crystal panel 5; and an inverter control circuit 1 which controls the output signal of the inverter 2 so that the light emission of the cold cathode tube 3 gradually increases around rise and gradually decreases around fall by each one frame.
