PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutter for cutting an object to be cut which is a rigid resin plate having a protrusion so as to be free from cracking or chipping. SOLUTION: At least an upper blade 8 is installed in such a manner as to undergo an open/close operation by taking a supporting point 3 as a center, and the object to be cut is sandwiched for cutting between a receiving part 4 and the upper blade 8. The surface, facing the upper blade 8, of the receiving part 4 is formed with recesses 6a-6c penetrating on both sides of the receiving part 4 in the direction orthogonal to a cutting direction.
