PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an artificial stone for indoor curling and a operating stick for this artificial stone safely and easily treatable by even an infant or old person and allowing a person difficult to freely bend the knees or a person sitting on a wheelchair to easily play a game. SOLUTION: This artificial stone 1 comprises a plurality of sliding rollers 4 allowing the horizontal sliding of a disk-like slider base 2 on the lower surface of the disk-like slider base 2 and an operation part 3 semi-spherically protruded so as to allow the horizontal moving operation but arrest the lifting up by grasping and holding, which is disposed on the upper surface of the slider base 2. This operating stick 6 comprises a stick-like operation part 8 and a push-out part 7 fitted to the shape of the edge part 3a of the operation part 3 so as to be capable of engagingly pushing out it. The operation part 3 is pushed out by the palm or fingers or pushed out by use of the operating stick 6, whereby the artificial stone 1 can be slid on a floor surface or the like.
