PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce consumed power in an absorption refrigerating machine using a heating medium as a heat source of a regenerator and provided with a cooling tower for cooling cooling-water. SOLUTION: A heating coil 12 is installed in a cooling water reservoir 21 of the cooling tower, and a heating medium cooling tower inlet side pipe 10 connecting a heating medium circulating pipe 18 for guiding the heating medium to the regenerator and an inlet side of the heating coil 12, a heating medium cooling tower outlet side pipe 9 connecting a heating medium circulating pipe 17 at a regenerator outlet side and an outlet side of the heating coil 12, a solenoid valve 11 interposed in the heating medium cooling tower inlet side pipe 10, a temperature sensor for detecting temperature of cooling water in the cooling water reservoir 21 and a control box 14 for controlling opening and closing of the solenoid valve 11 on the basis of output of the temperature sensor 13 are provided. When detected temperature of the cooling water becomes lower than a predetermined temperature, part of the heating medium used for heating the regenerator is circulated to the cooling tower 8 so as to heat the cooling water.
