PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for guiding/fixing a fixture such as a shower head, which holds the shower head or the like on an indoor wall in a vertically movable and horizontally rotatable manner and in a manner holding the same at a desired location, wherein a vertical tied-to-wall rod is set at a location very close to the indoor wall, to thereby reduce a space required for installation of the apparatus. SOLUTION: The tied-to-wall rod is fixed to the indoor wall, and the fixture is pressed to a cylindrical surface of the tied-to-wall rod by using a pressing body to which is applied pressure of at least one spring arranged perpendicularly to the tied-to- wall rod, whereby the fixture is held at an arbitrary axial location on the tied-to-wall rod. The tied-to-wall rod for guiding/fixing the fixture is formed like a mushroom hollow cross-sectional body, and the cross-sectional body has fixture guiding tracks on both rear sides on a front surface which is curved like a circular arc in cross section, and legs of the U-shaped cross-sectional body, which have their width dimensions correspondingly reduced, are connected to inner portions of the tracks. Herein, the fixture is formed of a sliding body and a support body pivotally movable about an axis in parallel with a longitudinal axis of the tied-to-wall rod, and the sliding body makes colliding contact with the guiding tracks in a flange as a thrust receptacle with respect to the pressing body.
