PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for heating image which has small heat capacity and enables rapid heating. SOLUTION: This device for heating image is provided with a fixing belt 20 having heat resistance, a heat generating roller 21 which internally contacts with the fixing belt 20, has electrical conductivity at least in one part thereof and is rotatable, a fixing roller 22 which movably hangs the fixing belt 20 between the heat generating roller 21 and the same, and an exciting means 24 which is disposed outside the heat generating roller 21 and excites and heats the heat generating roller 21. After the heat generating roller 21 starts a rotational operation, the exciting means 24 excites and heats the heat generating roller 21.
