PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a means capable of effectively achieving a 'real time' indication of a grip state affecting a behavior of a vehicle, when the vehicle is accelerated, braked, or turned in a different direction by a driving force. SOLUTION: A tire has a sacrifice rib 1 adjacent to a normal rib 2. During a usual operation, the sacrifice rib 1 slides with respect to a ground, but the normal rib 2 does not slide with respect to the ground. The existence of the sacrifice rib 1 allows measurement of a maximum grip power on the ground at any time.
