PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition and a method useful to quickly and effectively indicate whether a functional component (for example, catalase) has been added to a transparent and colorless solution (for example, a hydrogen peroxide solution). SOLUTION: The functional component is compounded with an effective amount of coloring component (for example, vitamin B-12). When a composition thus combined is added to the transparent and colorless solution, the transparent and colorless solution discolors. By observing the discoloration, it can be determined that the functional component has been added to the transparent and colorless solution.
